Draft status

No public SLA should be claimed until monitoring, support processes, incident response, exclusions, remedies, and service-credit terms are approved.

SLA components to define

  • Covered services, regions, packages, customers, and environments.
  • Monthly uptime percentage or response targets, if any.
  • Measurement source, downtime definition, maintenance windows, and excluded events.
  • Customer notice requirements and claim windows.
  • Service credit calculation, cap, sole remedy language, and ineligibility conditions.

Support targets

Support tiers should define channels, business hours, severity levels, first-response targets, update cadence, escalation, and customer responsibilities. Pilot and beta customers may have different support terms.

Status page

Production availability history should be published only after monitored services, incident categories, maintenance windows, and customer-notice processes are operational.
